AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP
BIDDING BEGINS TO END DECEMBER 11th @ 8:00 PM
The Knox Soil and Water Conservation District is awarding $1,000 scholarships to qualifying individuals. Those students who are eligible include Knox County high school seniors or current Knox County residents pursuing their field of study in a post-secondary institution enrolled in an agricultural, environmental studies or wildlife field of study.
There will be at least one agriculture/ environmental studies scholarship, and one wildlife scholarship. The Norman Lower Wildlife Memorial Scholarship is provided in partnership with Knox County Pheasants Forever #616. These scholarships were established to financially assist students with the pursuit of a college, university or technical school degree.
During the Knox SWCD Annual Meeting, we hold a silent auction and proceeds go towards funding these scholarships. Pheasants Forever also graciously supports this scholarship fund. This year in order to allow for Social Distancing there will not be a silent auction in person.
Bidding begins to end Dec. 11th @ 8:00 PM. Any lot with bidding in the last 3 minutes will be extended by 3:00 minutes.
